How I Asked My Bridesmaids

Immediately after Justin and I got engaged (literally immediately – I made him stop at Barnes & Noble to get a wedding planning binder just a few hours after he popped the question), we started talking about plans for the venue, the date, and our wedding parties!

Let me tell you, trying to narrow in on your bridal party is not easy – but I’m grateful to have had that problem! When I did come up with my bridal party (my two sisters as co-maid and matron of honor, two high school friends, and two college friends), I also knew I wanted to do some sort of gift box to ask each of them!

I kept it really simple and affordable, with just three items ordered from Etsy in each gift box. However, I was really happy with each of the three products from the Etsy shops, so I wanted to be sure to share their links! Here’s a look at the box (like I said, very simple and nothing extravagant):

And each of the three different products that I ordered:

Champagne Bottle Labels LabelWithLove has a ton of different wine and champagne labels for all different occasions and for different size bottles! I purchased mini champagne bottles to adhere the labels to, and I loved that the labels also came with great instructions on removing the label that came on the champagne bottle. They went on smoothly, which is quite impressive given that I have a tendency to mess those sorts of thing up! 10/10 would recommend these!

Customized Champagne Flutes– I was super happy with the quality of the work on these champagne flutes from FuchsiaBlooms!

Bridesmaid Hair Ties – I got three different varieties of these, each saying either ‘bridesmaid,’ ‘matron of honor,’ or ‘maid of honor,’ as I thought they were just a fun item from RainbowManes!

For the gift boxes themselves, I just found basic gift boxes at Target and filled the bottom of each box with one bag of paper shred each (also from Target). And viola! Good news: all the girls said yes! 😉 🙂

(Oh! Also! Major tip: if you’re shopping on Etsy, use Ebates!! You get cash back on every Etsy purchase. One of my favorite online shopping hacks for sure!)
