Road to Wellington

After a sixteen-hour drive from Pennsylvania, I’ve arrived in Wellington, and I’m in love!

I made the drive myself so I split it up over the course of three days. (Made for a very leisurely drive! hah Smart idea mom and dad!) I spent a night in Rocky Mount, NC and a night in Jacksonville, FL before finally arriving here in the fabulous 80 degree Wellington area.

The best part of the drive was that it got increasingly warmer the further south I got. (And gas prices seemed to get continually lower.)

Traveling definitely makes it more difficult, but I couldn’t go ruining my resolutions completely the very first week. I stocked up on lots of fruits to snack on on my drive, made pit-stops at Panera and quickly sought out the gym at both hotels.

This hotel definitely isn’t known for it’s “fitness center.” (aka the two bikes and an elliptical)

Immediately upon arriving, I got an awesome tour of the area and went to check out the Palm Beach Equestrian Center with one of the Phelps account executives, Kendall. More on all of that coming soon! xoxo
